The world as we know it has come to a end. What your parents tell you is reallity is a lie. The truth is the world works in twisted ways. God lives. People hate. People kill. People love. People die. But most of all people decive what we live for and then try to erase us as we where known to me and give us a falty reallity to hide who we really are. The World is Gone to Hell. Everything Dies |

Interesting thoughts JD, don't know if I agree with them. Hon, watch the spelling... a good writer has to be able to spell, look it up, it only takes a sec you know!! Being kind not judgemental know this.. There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

please know that I am not anti-expression. But tell me, is it the stylish thing to do to be macabre and hopeless in your writing, or do you really believe this? Do you ever smile during the day. If you do you cannot believe this totally. I did see one line in your poetry that was perhaps redemptive "God lives". This world may be lost, but there is true salvation. Don't get me wrong. I am not for powder-puff and sugar-coated grandma religion. Even a psalmist of the bible wrote once "darkness is my closest friend". But I think total hopelessness makes for poor writing, and can it do much better for living? |

Well, the words are powerful on that level...but it's hard for me to read a poem like this, being who I am. . . I hope that you don't believe this, and I hope that they are just words. . . So, on that level, it's a good poem. . . ------------------------------------------------ That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Powerful Words in here. Perhaps in time, your perception will change. The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship." --Ralph Waldo Emerson |

JD~ these words aren't just powerful, the are sad. Sad that you feel this way......I'm hoping you wrote this for a reaction...not a reflection of your heart....-SEA |

Well hell I liked the little devil guy. Yes you can stay like you are or you can make your own worth in life, you choose your own reality, you can choose to kick dogs or pet them, you can choose to open doors for the misfortunate when they can’t , you can choose to smile to a child, and teach them your truth. Not the lies. Be an open book., honor, truth, love, free spirit, these are truths. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
