Misery dwells within this heart, It was too perfect right from the start. Petty jealousies will conquer and destroy, All we hold dear, all our joy. What we have is harmless enough, Two kindred spirits fighting life's roughs. A touchstone, a ray of hope in each other's day, Now we are doomed to pay, pay, pay. Is it so wrong for opposites to be friends? Now petty jealousies wish to make ends. Ooh look someone is happy, boy, that it isn't right, I'll ruin it for them, I'll give 'em a fight. I've never had this before, Something so pure, fresh and clean, No real ties, no pressures it's true, Are they jealous of the beauty they've seen? Nothing can come of these kindred united, For a great distance seperates these loving hearts, Those jealous know these realities, But won't be happy 'til they rip it all apart. I need some guidance, some wisdom here, This all so confusing, brings on unshed tears, What if I lose my comfort, my rock, Then who will understand me and my fears. We've been given such a gift he and I, Something beautiful under a stormy, forbiding sky, I pray it won't end, won't be sliced to ribbons, This time I'm too selfish to be all forgiving... < !signature--> May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love. Oh god does this touch home. I know how you feel...I'm young but believe me I do. Jealousy is an ugly thing but some day they will either give up or they will come to understand...atleast a little. Jealous is a green eyed monster for sure. There are many decisions in life to make, I make two consciously whenever I can, not to be angry and never jealous. I am not a jealous person myself. But I have felt it's embrace once or twice I must admit. I just want everyone to know jealousy never gets you anywhere, never gets what you want. It usually has the reverse effect and severs the very bonds you are trying so valiantly to hold onto. Thanks everyone, Lone Wolf, thanks, and welcome to the dark forum. wow, isis! i understand what you are saying! once you've found a friend so dear to your heart it's practically impossible to let them go without a fight! yeah, the forgiveness definitely isn't instantaneous especially when you've been hurt before! you'll make it isis! |
