tis a dark corridor I trod
a tunnel with no end
for I blind in my devot'
risk all for a moment
or two in your gaze

day no more exsists
and night eternal reigns
no loosing of the bind
to free my passioned self
into swirling, twirling flight
I find my soul arrested
in your enchanted smile
I am left wakeful and wanting
after a moment in your voice
and sleep ne'er finds my eye
just an uneasy recline
nestled with a memory
of coulds and shoulds

will I e'er have the shackles
the bind me hand and feet
fallen from me and vanished
will I e'er know your angel smile
or feel your gentle embrace?
shall I live my life unfeeling
and barren? Or full and free!?
far from this storm-swept thing
I call living

Angel, This is excellent. I do believe Darkness is calling you with serious abandon. It's not to bad a place to be, really. Your imagery even astounds there!
