Withering away at a cold hard world My life as an actress must come to a stop Take me away to my trailor lined with gold Get me out of this scene! I don't enjoy my character I want the clutches of reality Love me for me not the mask I sheild myself with Let me not live the lie I burried myself in... That was a neat poem, I do like the mask metaphor of an actress. We do put on scenes, but most of us dont like starring in our own lives, so they take the part of someonelse. Hope to read more work in the future. Much love, One love PEACE CUT!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Beautiful, I can relate to the feelings you share. I enjoy the darkness in your poems. |
