I thought I was your one and only, That I was your guiding light, Now I discover I'm one of a harem, Do you even comprehend my horror and fright? I thought out of everyone, I was that one special girl, But now I see your tet la tets, So many my head is in a whirl. I'm just one more notch on your belt, Another simple conquest, But baby what you've done to me, My self esteem is permanently at rest. I've lost that old sparkle, No light shines from these eyes, I'm obviously just a nothing, Someone whom you despise. I will gain strength again, But it'll take time, I used to be a glittering diamond, Now I'm just a tarnished dime. I ask of you only this, Don't lead others on the same, For eventually all fraud is discovered, ANd you can never untarnish your name.. May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love. isis, this cries out for music. i can hear this on the radio. i know it sounds strange but try to put this to music. i bet it would be a hit.........and also if you do do that, can i play guitar on it??? great poem my friend. keep it upThen it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel is just a frieght train coming your way... You go girl! I know this one really spoke from the heart. It said A LOT to me. He is the one who is losing out BIG TIME. And one day when its too late, he's going to realize it. Kudos to you for standing up and fighting back. I am proud of you! Life is a constant struggle, and an uphill battle...but once in a while we get a burst of strength. I am glad to see you got yours.
