The Love I Could Never Have

I met Tazeen at my first day of classes
She could not see the board
She had forgotten her glasses
Then there she was in all my classes
Our friendship grew as the days went by
Then one by one my old feelings died
I saw the world from a new perspective
She showed me reasons why life was worth living
As the months went by I fell in love with her
I soon found out we could not share the same world
She was engaged and would soon be married.

So how can I not show the way that I feel?
Especially when I know for the first time it’s real
With the pain still there, life must go on
With her she takes a piece of my heart
Not everyday you find someone this special
Her friendship and love I will treasure forever
I will never forget her, Taz maybe in another life we’ll be together
I love you with every breath of my being.

Deep Emotions show in the words the style is certainly inplies THE REAL showing raw emotion can be painful it leaves you open to hurt. It is extremely brave

Hey, this poem is really touching. It brought out happy tears. I feel the same. I didn't know love can hurt so much. Thank you for showing me a whole new world.

My heart.... I felt this feeling go through my veins, the same you felt for her. But I loved him, and would not love me back. Maybe one day, or "...in another life". Much love, One love, PEACE
