Hey guys. I've missed you. I haven't been around much because I'm at home this week on break. I'll be back on a more regular basis soon.  Cold and Impatient Waiting Wondering if anyone awaits me Waiting to find if To him I am anyone Someone to fill The Emptiness A warm body for his cold bed A warm thought in his hopeless head A warm coat on the already dead Waiting Tiny space Where the heavy air is mixed with Cheap cologne From someone waiting before Someone pacing this floor Someone looking for more Waiting Watching The flicker Flicker Flick Of the lounge television Through rippled glass A lumpy mass Where only shadows pass Waiting And the doors open To release a man Who glances in my direction I wonder If he can see That this thin shirt does not keep me warm Even in the thickly burning air Even in his deeply searing stare Even in the arms of those who care [This message has been edited by Jannel (edited 03-10-2000).] |
