Sleeping Beauty's Parody

I'm living in a liberated lullaby
A death wish…
In an ancient lie.
So shake me awake
From this evil queens dream.
Let me reign…
Just let me find my way.
Running through my mind
Lost in the land of Oz
A quick sand of thoughts
A rich and loving land gone dry
Reality holds many faces
And I see not one…
But all that there might be
Slipping into space
A black hole filled with
Me…
Even I would jump
over the moon today.
A get away car needed
within this very play.
Alone I stand in a daydream
a foggy misinterpretation
of a bloody fairy tale
At the end of the day
however it may end
a love lost
a mind found
a heart forever scarred
only the fragile one
searches to be repaired
So, I gather all the
king's horsemen and all the king's men
to put me back together again.
Liberated I say,
in a sunken lullaby
Where no one is here
to take hold of my hand.

Wow. So many great lines, and they come together perfectly. Great use of the various tales. Loved it.

this is SO great armanca...very creative weaving the different fairy tales but adding the dark twist to them "Fractured Fairy Tale"

I loved that line..."in an ancient lie"
