Secrets whispering in the trees Mysteries flying on the breeze Rows of cold hard unmoving stone Names and dates are all thats known Mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends The list goes on and on the list never ends So many unanswered questions, so much history Knowing that a stone will someday be me Silenced forever, nothing more to say Beautifully tragic, it moves me in this way -*- ~*Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear*~ |

Interesting observation. I guess a stone is what waits all of us. "What's significant? only the quality of the journey". Nice piece you have written. Makes one think about the inevitable. [This message has been edited by Danny Holloway (edited 03-09-2000).] |

"Knowing that a stone will someday be me" This is a great observation of the fatality of life and the wish to be remembered. Great approach to this subject.
