Holding on for nothing, A game I'm losing fast, You are slipping like sand through my fingers, And I am watching you go. What can I do? Standing here, Frozen in time, So much pain. And yet I just stand here, Watching you go, I try to speak, no sound comes out, And you leave me. Goodbye for good? Or goodbye for now? |

ARGHHH!!! How do you do it so well? Do I know you? This poem really expresses the turmoil very well. Kuddos to you. hailfellow "If life had no sense and I had to choose nonsense, then I too should consider this the most sensible nonsense." ~Nietzsche |

hailfellow, Thank you for complemeting my work. My poetry I am sad to say is the result of losing many people dear to me. I have only been on this site for a matter of hours but find it amazing how much I feel like I am able to relate to you and the other poets in here. I guess that it is all a matter of how you veiw things to be. |

For good or for now...which one would you prefer? When someone left me I made a choice that I would go on with my life and they would be goodbye for good. If someone wants to leave open the door. They can only go on with their life when you release them. Sorry I got so serious here. James |
