if any of you have a title suggestion for this it would be appreciated as well...

While in silent slumber i was awoken
To words that were said but never spoken
To doors that were opened but seemed to be locked
To answer the door, yet no one ever knocked

Yet I invited him in like a long lost friend
Embracing the begining of what some fear to be the end
Cordially welcoming most peoples sworn enemy
As I invited death to come sit with me

first of all, i liked this poem very much.
as far as a title? hmmmm.......i don't know. maybe something like "Invited". anyway- again, well done.

this is so good...slightly haunting, powerful short poem...much said in so few words. great work.jm
