A transparent web woven of cloudy silt
Dangling dew drops dripping from the thread-like quilt
Its stunning aroma full of celestial bliss
As though the angels above had gently spun this

Overwhelming senses trying to snap
From wakeness, now lay in a thick, sleepy sap
The tremor within my heart tells me to wake
But the dreamer inside whispers not to surrender the fate

But slowly I see the light just beyond
As I float away from this soft, hazy pond
I wake and upon approaching the day
Sit back in bed for awhile, just to lay

Beautiful poem star...loved the imagery.

"They can take away my belongings. They can beat me. They can torchure me and they can kill me. Then they will have my dead body. But they will not have my obedience."
-Gandhi

excellent, perfect rhyme and perfectly visual...well written. It was a nice read!
take care, janet marie

When you see through love's illusions, there lies the danger...
And your perfect lover just looks like a perfect fool
So you go running off in search of a perfect stranger
While the loneliness seems to spring from your life
Like a fountain from a pool.

Jackson Browne
