Into the light strove the Ice King
From his months under worlds
On along the road he rode
On a horse brighter than gold

In his heart depresion sank
Like the moon of blue
But still he travelled
To the next days untold

On the 3 week from darkness
He came upon A cottage
Placed by the way he route he paced
And beautiful as a single kiss

The building old with experience
held within it magical content
The Ice king entered forth
Disturbig dust on ancient walls

Before him stood an alter of gold
With jewels bright and blue
And on the alter stood a crown
Forged in gold and bronze

"You have come far to me
King of Ice and cold
You have travelled long
And dangerous roads to my palace of gold"

"Come my king wear your crown
Rule world of green and browns
Take your treasure my lord
It is for you alone I horde"

The voice was rich with promise
From a world of endless conquest
It spoke to the King of days grown old
When it was worn by Kings great and bold

It sang of places long forgot
Of the tales of the old ones
And their deeds of bravery
Where all was gold and great

Yet the king was wise
And his memory was long
And the crowns Magic
Was no longer strong

And his eyes opened
And the King could see
The walls of bones
And skulls of deceased

The crown of blood
An alter of dead flesh
In a hall of the old
Where men died without souls

The king was brave
the king was good
and the king struck
From where he stood

the walls crumbled
And the ceiling fell
And out from the alter
Rushed the minions of hell

The King of ice and cold
Astride his horse
And away he rode
Into the sun of pure gold

Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace,
of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd

Walter, im running out of true adjectives to describe your work!! the imagery in this is extraordinary...this is awesome...more, more, more...how about one where the ice king finds his ice angel(smile)
take care, janet marie

You're going to hear my voice in the morning calling your name
And know my love and my desperation were one and the same...
Baby it's alright...
Take this pain and all this sadness
It's alright
Take this rain
You're going to be free...

Thanks again Janet marie i think i just might. But I think the Ice king will cease through lack of interest.

But it will end happily for now< !signature-->
