Got me goin' there Danni , sniff  I imagine you there In the early dawn light, A picture of beauty, A wondrous sight. ~ The face of an angel, Rests close to me, Such peace and such wonder, In the face that I see. ~ The wisp of your breath, Just caresses my ear, I count ev’ry moment, Just feeling you near. ~ It feels just so real, But I know its not true, It’s only a dream, From my longing for you. ~ ‘Tis only an echo, Of a time that has past, I wish for this mem’ry, Like each day was my last. Slow Down, stop to smell the roses and stroll through the garden of life, it will be a more pleasurable experience. |

~paul... wonderful poem for a wonderful person. i see danni really did inspire you That special someone will enter your life. I too have noone at this moment...but I don't plan on giving up. this is excellent...and how great that dannis poem brought this out in you...i love sweet inspiration(smile)...I'm noticing a pattern too...do poets sleep...i think our best work comes to us in the am...oh well, we can always nap at work..LOL jm You're going to hear my voice in the morning calling your name And know my love and my desperation were one and the same... Paul- i loved this. what an honor to know that i have inspired you so. she will be there, one day. took me three years to find my dream come true. guess that's why i stay up and watch him. soaking him in while i can. not wanting to lose a single moment. aahhhh....anyway this was great! |
