"Lost Magic" The brown eyes that had once hypnotized me, no loner work the same magic as they used to. The sweet way you'd seduce me, no longer holds that charm as it once did. The way you'd protect me from all harm and evil, no longer makes me feel safe. The sweet kisses that once made me melt, now leave me cold. The magical feeling between us has left ....never to be seen again. "It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to love someone- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone." |

Yes very deep,, but beautiful. Keep them comming .Paulsm Slow Down, stop to smell the roses and stroll through the garden of life, it will be a more pleasurable experience. |

Sometimes it is hard to move on, especially when you have no way of finding out if what once existed still does. You wonder day after day what would happen if you were to come back into each other's lives. It is much better to know there are no emotions left between the two. Wow! Another great poem! I really enjoy reading your poems, as well as everyone elses'. I recently broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years....It was hard because the whole time I let her walk all over me, but I htough I was in love with her... I"m still getting over it, but I'm glad you found the strenght.  ) |

Ya know, its hazel that gets me every time. What to do when the magic is gone? I liked this read, Keli. Makes me think about replacing my "old magic" for a new one. |
