He stands at the foot
Of the mountain of woe
Where all the old ones
When they are cold Finaly go

His fathers Lie by his toes
And his icey heart sinks
As the pain in him grows
With the Mountains gown

And the banshees howled
and the frost winds did blow
As the brave ice king
Accross mountains did go

Over to the summits
And then over the snow
The ice kings great boots
Plowed through so slow

Before he could sink
In the Depths and despair
He open his heart
And he sang of the Bear

"Large of Tooth
Is the bear of the North
White as a cloud
His majesty shines forth"

"Lord of the winter land is he
His domain stretches
From Land to icey sea
With the ice as his Queen"

"Large is the Winter King
Roaming his Great plains
Eternal is the Winter King
So Great is his name"

So the ice King sang
From morn till the night
Of the life of the Winter king
Of the power and the plights

And the mountains split Before him
His voice Soared up and Forth
And the mountains payed homage
To the king of the Icey North

Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace,
of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd

This is beautiful.  I can see him on the mountain singing to the bear.  I love it.

...there are places inside all our souls...
that have never been touched...

It is indeed a ballad Walter, I can feel the chill and hear him singing.  Great visuals.
Hey read my three parter!! 'A Hard But Happy Life'

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......
