I am filled with sadness
and - I seek shelter.
I am filled with pain,
and I still seek shelter.
I am tormented with lonliness
although my world is full,
and - I seek shelter.
I am on bended knee,
arms outstretched at my sides,
fists are clenched.
The tears pour from my eyes
and seep out of my heart,
my face heavenward -
I cry
for shelter

This is so sad and gut wrenching Childomine.
You can seek comfort from friends etc. Don't hide from yourself, for deep within all the answers are waiting for you to discover them.
You have the potential to do anything, be anything.  (HUGS)

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

chilomine...this is emotionally powerful and touching...expressed with angst and honesty.
I have felt like this...but never expressed it so well
glad your back with us...
take care,janet marie

 ...every moment of every day...
your still with me in every way.
every poem and song...
every rhyme and verse...
your still here...like a beautiful curse.

Childomine,
You have a talent I'm in awe of.  You write so beautifully, don't ever stop your expressions.

Childomine,
By the way, friend 'o mine, you can always find refuge and shelter, not only in yourself, but in your friends.

Great work. Especially liked the ending.

'tis true, we are our own worst enemies sometimes.  It's hard to fight what you can't see.  Good poem.

Reminds me of when one bares their soul.  Sometimes the person who we hide our feelings and emotions from the most is ourself.

I love your poems, such powerful emotion expressed in so few words.  I can so identify with this one.
