Blood flows forth down fingers red. Who will miss me when I am dead? Not the ones that I once knew. Friendship I have known not true. Pain and sorrow have I known. Only rejection was I shown. No one came when I did cry. Would they care if I now die? No one tried to touch my heart, Only did they want to part. Was I such a horrid beast? Love I knew not in the least. Falling deep into despair, I could see, they did not care. Why did no one look and see, What the world has done to me? Now I lay for final rest, Gone from world that I detest. I renamed and reworked the poem a little, I dont think the original title did the poem justice, and the original ending seemed too weak to me. Mistik, this is sadly excellent...very good rhyme pattern and well expressed emotions... take care, janet marie "Bring it on baby what you getting into... I swear at once it was the little things that mattered-- But it all seems true to you. Say the hell with my name and say the hell with my picture... but swear, for the one time you need me around. And here I'll stand like it matters... Only once love gets through then gets scattered by the rain... But pain gives me the right to be unkind"... Tabitha's Secret |

I'm glad you explained to me before I read this, that it wasn't about you. I would have worried. I'm sure there are people who think of themselves as pests...but I would hope that one of their family or friends would make them see that suicide is not an answer.. ever! |

danni- Thank you, I really appreciate it. These feelings are really hard to deal with at times. My poetry is my way to get the feelings out in a constructive and healthy manner. Janet Marie- Thank you, Some of the best poetry I read is also horribly depressing. Something about pain can make some poetry come alive. Poet deVine- Thank you, and this actually is about me. The only part that isnt is the actual act. I am a bit past suicidal urges. I left those behind years ago. |
