I take this waking for what it appears My turns have been few and my chances less The path I walk belongs to I and I alone Not a soul could under stand it Nor could an angel teach them This maze of mirrors and fog has become part of me Clarity is now a thing of the past … a thing to fear A consequence upon recognizing what I have reaped A verdict from a trial judged by myself, harsh I dare not think of what life really is as I make this journey I dare not look beneath it skin as I walk this earth I take this waking for what it appears What it appears is what I take < !signature--> 'Cause if the face inside can't see the light I know I'll have to walk alone And if I walk alone to the other side I know I might not make it home (creed) [This message has been edited by baerlon (edited 02-15-2000).] |

bae, this is excellent, very well written, a deep look with in.great work of self expression. I love the first two lines, perfect opening remarks. take care, janet marie "...we were born before the wind...also younger than the sun... and my heart you have won...as we sailed into the mystic... I just want to rock your gypsy soul- just like in the days of old... and together we will float-into the mystic... Van Morrison |

Thanks Janet I try to make my poems close to my heart while keeping them up to the standards i expect from my self. It has made it harder to write but I do what i can. |

High standards, bring forth wonderous works. This was great. I enjoyed seeing inner thoughts Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |

This maze of mirrors and fog has become part of me I liked this very much. It gave me an almost elusive feeling . Jennifer |
