Terminal Death See me not, For in this vision I die. Kill me not, No matter how I cry. The joy of life Now replaced with pain. Excruciating, unbearable, Driving me insane. No doctor's majick No mother's kiss, To cure the hurt Or send me bliss. Each day I am less The pain is more, Strong I once was Now I am no more. In the final days, Life will be pain. No happy memories For the final sleep. Stabbing pain! My body screams! And still ahead Lies no relief. Agony rises higher But still I live on. The blinding pain, All I know anymore. Doctors prolong life With cures for many. Yet I am dying, A slow painful death. There is no cure, No chance for redemption. I must die slowly, No escape, no aide. Someday you will learn After life there is death. Help some to live, Give others peaceful rest. My father recently died a slow painful death by cancer and now my grandfather dies the same way. He asked me why we can prolong life, but not make death less painful. This is the expression of my anger for his and my father's deaths. Not that they must die, but how. Both cancers are terminal. Without darkness there is no light Without the light we cannot see the dark Balance...It heals the soul -- by: LB |

So sorry to hear this. One of my personal hopes is someday every person who dies can die painlessly in their sleep. No one should have to endure such torture. A hard time for you and your family. (HUGS) Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Thank you all. While writing doesn't take away the pain and anger, it helps me to deal with it as I must. Without darkness there is no light Without the light we cannot see the dark Balance...It heals the soul -- by: LB |
