Your spiteful worlds come down on me with a sting like freezing rain I stand before you helplessly A pawn in this cruel game You build me up to break me down I pray for this to end But you keep on relentlessly Finding pleasure in my pain I've come to lose myself in you Nothing left to gain And as I turn to run away I realize I will never be the same Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear. -Tool- |

Great poem danni. This sounds like a very destructive relationship that is benefiting no one. You painted this picture very vividly. I am not a poet, I am merely one who speaks in emotion |

Mistikman-thanks much for your comment. No, one like that doesn't benefit anyone. I got out of it, but not soon enough. The scars run deep. Anyway......thanks again! Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear. -Tool- |
