INSIDE Your smiling so deep...I hear from all... Your outfit is perfect...your hair all done... "All set for the camera"...my pal remarked. I thought for a moment then... tears began to flow I was asked why...? Just smiling..I say... It's all for the better...but there's just these feelings inside... Walking around the town...seeing too many people All asking for you...like i were to know... The Where is? And How is? I answered a hundred... All happy...all fine... Turning away...the tears just keep flowing... Nothing unsual just a feeling inside... Acquaintances add pain...it's not their fault... They remember us from college...together...so much See them on Main Street...while i'm trying to move on... Just then they enquire about deeds so old... I’m left with the impact...and back to square one... Still...invisible the tears are... Unknown to the world...the feeling insid... you don't have to understand completely..to love completely... remember even the darkest night has a morning to meet...you'll understand someday... I liked this very much. Especially "see them on Main Street...deeds so old." Reminds me of going home to where people remember another me. Jannel I'm just saying that we've mistakn one for thousands of words, and for that mistake I've caused you such pain that I damn that word. 10000 Maniacs "Jezebel" |

a wonderful poem. there seems to be so much that we keep hidden. leaves you wondering if anyone knows who you really are. sometimes you even wonder who you really are. well captured! Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear. -Tool- |

Reminds me of 'Funeral In the Rain' by Chris Issac. Sad, heartfelt poem. Showing the emotions so well. Great job Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |

"Back to square one" - how the heck does it always seem to come to that. I can relate only too well to those words. Great work, AVANTI, enjoyed this poem much. michael |
