I'm running blindly
through the darkness
Trying to escape It
A growing fear
A receeding pace
Unable to turn
and face It

I feel It's breath
upon my neck
Barely unreachable
to It's icey claws
No further behind
than one false step

Afraid I might see it
I tightly close my eyes
Leaving me unaware
of the light just ahead
Sealing my fate
to a fear-filled demise

Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear.

Micheal- my thanks to you too. fear can be such a controlling emotion. that's what i tried to portray in this one.
