I walk this path to what end unknown My mind is blank and heart cold There is a need to push on, yet no will to try My goals are unimportant, my life a blur A will has been broken A predetermined destiny taken The riches of life are gone The systematic rituals now rule The heaven above I no longer see The hell below does not matter With my losses abound this timeless voyage As well as the redundancies of pushing on I have come to realize you are not who you are Leaving me to conclude I am alone There's a peace inside us all Let it be your friend It will help you carry on In the end There's a peace inside us all (Creed) baerlon |

Being alone is the worst place to be, but whether or not you know it, thers always someone who cares. Love isn't a miracle in life, the miracle of life is love. |

baerlon, this is a sad and moving expression. Loneliness is a powerful force, and always a source of inspiration for touching poems...like this one... your signature verse is also inspiring...and speaks the truth... "peace inside ourself"... we are never really alone. take care Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time. Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding- remain the most beautiful words ever heard. Janet Marie |

This was a great poem. It really speaks the truth of how many people feel. I know I felt that way not too long ago...Alone, that no one cared about me, and I didn't care about anything else for that matter either, but in the end, you find you really never were alone. Keep up the great work! I can't wait till you post another poem! We are never truly alone, there is love in each life everyday, perhaps you need to look for it, but it is there and you will find it. From a family member, a friend, a neighbour. Someone..
