My Ache For The Blade (repost for Michael) |

I cast longing glances at the blade awestruck by it's simple beauty. Each loving caress of the constant unchanging hardness of the knife moves my icy soul to a more perfect marriage with the blade. My lips touch this loyal and worthy partner in what presages an act of primal union with this jealous lover. A quick, unfeeling motion grants me her kiss an ecstasy of anticipated delight brought on by her gentle touch that tenderly sliced into my flesh. With near sexual release her kiss eases my ache for the blade. ©1999 DreamEvil ------------------ Now and forever my heart hears ~one voice~. DreamEvil© |

Ditto the above and always in awe. I do not envy you your talent, I hope to learn from it. That is the highest form of praise I can think of, and you have earned it. A magnificent tribute! |

This poem is literally drenched with yearning for connection....it has drawn me in...asked me to look at it more deeply...not accept the words as only words, but as paint on a canvas or actors on a stage. Hmmmmmm......truly provocative ------------------ Julie Jordan Scott is a Freelance Writer and Public Speaker, but her favorite role is that of Mommy! Visit her website at http://www.5passions.com |

A jealous lover indeed -- what was that about you being no good at free verse? I beg to differ, my friend. This was very effectively arranged; an engaging read. --Kess ------------------ You cannot choose the way of your death, but the path you choose will determine its own end. |
