Turning Angst Into Gold

Bored shiftless with daily existence
And the endless repetition of me, I
Set out to test self-imposed restraint
And wander aimlessly into obloquy.

I am at ease amidst the clamor, the
Glamour and the glory of ignorance; so
Easily immersed in its vanity, sanity
And pointless humanity! F*ck you all!

I will live for no one but myself, just
As you taught me in school! I will
No longer be typecast the fool - I will
Kill the first one to cross me! Dare me to?

I have doted on my last Debutante, I
Shall desecrate her holiest of holies
With a rod of righteousness! I shall
Visit upon her, my undying lust!

I shall no longer think of my thoughts
As the Voice of God! I shall make
No distinction between Saint and Sinner;
I shall judge no wine before its time!

I will live my life among the living, I
Will love every breath I take! If life
Has taught me anything, it's taught me
To leave the dead to bury the dead!

Rest in Peace.
