It is peace away from reality It is ones way to vent anger And yet another’s way to remember happiness They say what dare not be said Show what dare not be shown Our little secrets drip out A sweet nectar like no other Riddles upon riddles Many look for the meaning Yet only one knows for sure baerlon This one really does not belong in dark passions but i thought you people might enjoy it. It is about what we all came here for "POEMS" and the fact that everyone claims they know what a poem means but truely the only one who knows is the writer. We all have differnt expirences that lead us to diffent conclusions. Which is perfectly fine as long as you enjoy it. Thanks for reading |

baerlon, I really like this poem...and you are right...we all read our own experiences and feelings into the poems...and only the author truly knows its deepest reasons...but for me..that is the real gift of both writing my own-- and reading others works...as both-- helps us heal and give us strength, and gives us each others wisdom to learn from these "lessons of life". I like this poems message... "They say what dare not be said Show what dare not be shown Our little secrets drip out A sweet nectar like no other" very well said.
