standing in the shadows,
watching love come and go.
cloaked in the darkness,
listen to the wind blow.

i knew that i loved you,
even before we met.
it's painted on the window,
that sees right through my heart.

my love can speak so softly,
whispers out your name.
feel it in the sunshine,
reaching out it's flame.

patiently i wait for you,
looking past the sky.
i long to be in your heart,
and show you all my love.

oh i liked this alot...I have felt the same way before...i like the part about loving before we ever met...that is how im feeling now...great poem...
