A winner in the end I have become everything That I never intended But the horrors of the child Have all but ended Fill the syringe With yesterdays screams Push the plunger And destroy todays dreams Which would be The lesser pain? To just live life Or drug my veins? I'll opt for the heroin And take the cowards way For death by injection Is a small price to pay Because in the end When all's said and done The game is over And finally...I've won. Nirvana |

I'm not sure if you mean you have won when you have died? In any respect, this was an enjoyable poem. I liked the way it flowed. |

nirvana: i really like this one... very though-provoking and very sorrowful also... joy was right about the flow, it went smoothly, and the rhyme in this one is a little less awkward than that in some of your other poems... i enjoyed it a lot ![]() sincerely, jerome the boy with no soul A savage place! as holy and enchanted As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted By woman wailing for her demon-lover! ~Coleridge |

I too enjoyed this but will be closing the thread as drug usage and references are not for this forum. Any problems or queries please email me. We cannot condone drug usage when young ones may read this. Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |
