The day that she takes me there The wind will be calm and the sky will be fair. The waves will not crash along the shore But our footsteps will echo those who have gone before. We will spend the day along the cape The love that we know will form and begin to take shape. Our kindred spirits will become one As we laugh and talk under the noon-day sun. Then, as the day gives way to night The lighthouse guards us and aids our sight. Piercing the darkness with its beam And helping us to realize that this is not a dream. ---------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

You sweet man what a wonderful meeting that would be. Kindred hearts and souls meeting in such beautiful surrounds. What a lovely dream and me hopes one day it may become a reality. I'd love to share Byron Bay with you. Thank you for this poem. (HUGS) Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |

this is a beautiful and descriptive poem. I love its emotions and the warmth that comes from reading it. A real love poem. Janet Marie ..."She says baby, It's 3am I must be lonely, When she says baby, Well I can't help but be scared of it all sometimes, Says the rains gonna wash away I believe it." Matchbox20 |
