In this world what do I see Faces staring back at me On a wall or in a tree Faces staring back at me Haunting spirits they seem to be Faces staring back at me I can not run I can not flee Faces staring back at me Why is it that I always see Faces staring back at me Will they ever set me free Faces staring back at me They've got me writing poetry Faces staring back at me How come they can't just heed my plea Faces staring back at me Because in my mind they call to thee Faces staring back at me Insane I am that's why I see Faces staring back at me God why won't they let me be Faces staring back at me No longer do I wish to see Faces staring back at me In my mind there will always be Faces staring back at me Look real close perhaps you'll see Faces staring back at thee G.A. I liked the form of this. You really get the affect of the poem with the continuous line "faces starring back at me" |

Thank you all, I'm glad you liked my little jaunt into insanity. The fact of the matter is, I really do see faces in just about everything I look at. I can't explain it, I just do. That's why I wrote this piece. Maybe I have lost my mind, who knows. Thanks again. G |
