It never comes easy
But now…
       It doesn’t come at all

It weighs a ton…
       This block
Should I just lay my neck upon it ?

Already beheaded…
       I still await execution

Criminals on the row get theirs…
       Where's mine ?

Just once more
For my passions sake

The crops are dying
There’s a cronic shortage here

Native roots…
       Move my legs
              Make me sing

Bring on the thoughts
And quench this spell

Deliver me
From this wordless hell

There must be some kinda way out of here... say the joker to the thief

There's to much confusion, I can't get no relief

Beautiful FreeByrd, like the line 'already beheaded, still I await execution'.  Let your native roots bring you peace, allow you to song always and fly when you need to.

DITTO ^^^^^^.  On what they both said.  I took "Already beheaded" as meaning a mind already used up.  Well done.

Beautiful and moving. I too have gone through a stage like this before, and I thought I would never get out, but I gave it time and sometimes frustrating patience and I was delivered from "the wordless hell". Thank you for sharing.
