TV watching the other day, Saw a man get his arm torn off for a crime There was a close up of his face, in pain While the truck drove off He obviously was screaming, but there was no sound Just his face On the TV So we could see |

So sad the things we see on TV these days. I try not to watch the news always too much violence and hatred. I usually watch the headlines then turn it off. And how they can turn that man's crisis into TV entertainment never ceases to amaze me. It affected you and you are an adult what of all the little ones who could've seen that? I too stay away from watching TV. Like Isis said, there is no entertainment in watching another person in pain. I think we see enough of it in everyday life as it is. |

Ever go back and watch old movies? It is kinda funny. You see these people fighting yet when they punch and hit, there is never contact. Same with guns and shooting, never any bullets or blood. Now a days, the more blood and gore the better. Not sure I am thrilled about that but thank God I don't have kids of my own to worry about yet!
