In this town nobody says I love you in the dark. Their faces are hidden in the shadows. I'm tired of these lonely streets. I don't want to die in the arms of someone I don't know.

I am the disillusioned. I know longer hear the sound of the stars. All I feel is the eternal night. But I'm lonely for past kisses.
I long to see you radiant in the darkness. I want to see your brown eyes reflecting back the light. I want to fall in love again.

This time I will protect it and not destroy it from within. This time I will surrender to the heat. In your bed, I will say I love you in the dark. And, I will die sleeping in the arms of a woman I love.
