Why do I live? Why do I breathe? When you make it so obvious. You want me to leave. I love you so much. I feel such despair. When you make it so obvious. You don`t really care. I've tried my best. To do it your way. But when push comes to shove. You want me away. You still think of others. Don`t know why you do. Because, of those others. I fear you`ll never be true. But because I love you. Don`t know why I do. But because of that love. I`ll always be true. I just want to hold you. And kiss you my love. And hear you say you love me. My angel from above. Do you fear it is over. Our love from our past. Because, I fear it is over. Though I wish it would last. Someone said we weren`t soul mates. What alot of rot. After nearly two decades. How could we be not. I know what your thinking. Most of the time my friend. So, don`t be sucked in by lies. By people who tried to make our love end. Look into your heart and you will see. It`s like something emptied your heart of me. So, if it is for the better, for you and me. Fly , fly away and be free. Free from the one who truly loves you. Free from the one who truly cares. Free from the one who wants you forever. Free from the soul thats stripped bare. When I asked you to marry. It was for the rest of my life. We committed each other. For all life`s strife. So, when I found you were unfaithful. You were being untrue. Of course I`d be upset. And have hurt and feel blue. I`m trying to put this all behind me. And rekindle our love anew. Because I know deep down inside. You love me as much as I love you. So, take some advice. From a long time friend. I`ve always had faith in you. Our love will never end. Open your heart and mind to me. And you`ll be suprised by what you`ll find. You could never find a better lover. Our hearts and minds entwined. So please just relax. A better person you`ll never find. I`m making some changes. For your peace of mind. So, forget about all the stuff. The evil in our past. So, forget about all the stuff. Because life goes to fast. I`ve ignored all the advice I`ve had. To leave so I don`t feel the pain. I`ve ignored all the advice I`ve had. To leave and start again You are my soul mate. Tested and true. We have been through to much together. So, come and let your feelings shine through. I`m glad you can sing again. I`m glad your soul is renewed. I hope that I helped with this. To bring out the person that is you. So, don`t dwell on sadness and despair. These things are in the past and long gone. Take some advice from the one who cares Because, once in your life you were truely wrong. Wrong to think it was better elsewhere. Wrong to think that I didn`t care. I just thank God for everything. That you`re still here. Here to see the real me. Here to see I`m right for thee. Put all those feelings for others you have. Into the Recycle Bin and Delete them as fast as can be. Others did not lift evils. From your life you see. But created new ones. For the doubt you had in me. Pain and confusion they left behind. You lost your faith in human nature and mankind. Lying and cheating is their No 1 game. For your loving nature, they nearly drove you insane. People are like this. It sickens me to say. I wish a giant wave. Would sweep them all away. If this were to happen. People left behind would be few. But I know in our hearts. Two of them would be me and you. So, look forward to the future. My life long best friend. Hands and hearts entwined forever. Our love will last until the end. |

I think you did a great job and welcome to Dark Passions! Oh, such a pain is love like no other and even under faith it does falter, but consider yourself lucky for all that you recieved and don't let it go. Not even in the end. Thanks to all the positive replys written above. I`m not good at poetry but what I wrote was from my heart and I tried to express the love and not giving up on my partner. The only negative reply was from Isis who suggests I give up and move on.I have been reading this site for a while and read alot of your stuff Isis. I get the idea that you believe you have problems in your relationship but you don`t seem to bothered to try and fix it. Why is that? If your partner is as bad as you make out but he is still there, then surely he`s not that bad then.I`m determined to stay with my wife even though she makes it very hard most of the time, so you should be as determined to stay with your`s. I`m sure a little affection would go along way as they say.I`t sure as hell is working for me. It seems that we are discovering each other again and it is even better than in the past. It`s also mending the hurt on both sides alot quicker. Give it a shot and best of luck. |
