she wore pink
the first blush of her
coming out party
ever green with envy
rowed sisters bowed before
her beauty

her earthy lover
tenderly showers warm
kisses upon her feet
encouraging blossoms
to climax the skies
for soon she shall weep
petal soft
and her eyes too, shall
know jealousy
