A teasing morning breeze tickles the palms,
coaxes a silvery leaf percussion.

Come afternoon,
it licks the bay into frosted curls,
curves against a sloop’s bow.

She responds with swollen sheets and glides,
rolls in elation,

never minds when she capsizes.

Well done.  Love the display of this...simple, brilliant...like the waves she rides.

Keeping it.

Well, I like this very much. Its right where my mind is at these days. Its would be nice to sail the warm breezes in Cali.
Of course without the capsizing part.
But reading it a few times, I think I read a completely different meaning into this gem. One wonders what hidden meanings hint at themself in the poets mind. We may never know.

I love the layers in this.  Your poetry always leaves me nodding my head.  And the photo, not Marina Del Rey, but Eureka!
