Love Comes Softly (A little song) Quietly, softly the footsteps are coming Slowly approaching a frail, tender heart Something is there in the mist of the morning Something is waiting and ready to start Silently life drapes a veil of enchantment Over the deepness and black of your eye No word has been spoken, no sign has been given But you know there’s something your heart can’t deny This is what life has been trying to tell you This is a gift you will cherish within I have a feeling your heart has surrendered I think that love is about to begin You had a dream of a starry-like evening Now you are waking to yellow and green Everything’s brighter and everything’s lovely You’re seeing colors you never had seen All of your dreams have escaped from your window All of your plans you must now rearrange Nothing is clear in the mist of the morning All that was certain’s beginning to change This is what life has been trying to tell you This is a gift you will cherish within I have a feeling your heart has surrendered I think that love is about to begin Elizabeth Santos |
