How many times has my soul been blind? my heart stabbed? yet I felt nothing, You hunt to kill, not love, the chase is thrill, and you know nothing of it, Your souls an empty hole to fill, A thousand deaths I have died, sorrow visits, like the rise and fall of the tide, Once again, I am bone, broken, shattered, so alone, to you, my love never mattered, How foolish am I to have played the part, silly games, aiming for the bullseye, targeting my heart, Over-kill, shredded, be-headed, betrayals bullets, my heart becomes embedded, To give you pleasure of my thoughts, no! I shall keep them to myself, in a safe jar upon my minds shelf, Darkness swallows me, choking at my bits and pieces, loves color, loves beauty becomes lost, You offer love, but know nothing of it, I will not become the sacrifice, my life , too valuable to pay such a cost, The devil himself I could love more than you, for he never promises to love, his intentions are all ready known, A mask you wear, great you are not, truth comes to me, when needed, I am shown, Murderer, murderer, or shall I call you a thief? I came to the slaughter, A poets loving daughter, who leaves you grief, Out of my mouth I spew you, bitter taste, raw, sour stomache ache, eating your poisoness stew, poems of loves brew, To grasp, and cling, this life I pull, feeling deaths sting, but I, no not I, Will never again, play the part, of the fool. |
