The Simple I found the simple tucked inside The scares upon a welted hide Resting in a fools delay Lost somewhere along the way Underneath a film of grime Waiting for a moments time To show itself in simple flair As simple as a touch of care And with that touch a world born new More clearly viewed and much more true Set a field of greenery A deferent look of scenery In truth it was the same I saw But viewed within a minds report And thistles that had once drawn red Was now subdued and put to bed I empathize with those that need And say to plant another seed |

Ah, to plant another seed...in field or mind to see what will grow. Of course at our house we just burn off the pasture every Spring and then watch a black turn back to green in a week or two. Lovely contruction. I enjoy reading your work. INclan |
