Give me a girl
who can set a trotline,
explain the infield fly rule,
and why the prevent defense
only prevents you from winning.

I'll give her a guy
who knows nothing
of perfume and pantyhose,
and why fashions change monthly
so you can buy more shoes.

Give me a girl
who loves walks in the rain,
and deep lingering kisses.
I'll give you a man
who loves the sweet taste
of lipstick...and you.

interesting one. the only thing that i wasn't fond of was the word "guy". it just seemed...out of place. it was pretty good other than that though.

Thanks Blood.....yup, I could have used "man"
but did not want to contrast much from "girl"
as some "girls" take offense to being called
"girls".....what do the rest of you think?

Perhaps I should use "man" in the third stanza as
most women, be they "girls" or not, would perfer a
"man" to give them such attention.
