The Power of Words

Your words laced with stinging nettles.
Careening down a hallway towards the unsuspecting one.
Slapping the innocent one with the force of a hurricane.
They stumble back as if the breath of life was taken from
them.
They fall to the ground in disbelief.
You will never know or see the pain inflicted with
your power of words.
How they knocked them down to their
knees and sear their humble naive heart.
As words click along the pages of white.
They may leave a heated trail
or fill you with enlightened knowledge of self.
Weigh your words wisely for you do not
realize the strength you have with each stroke
of lettered keys.
If not tempered with gentleness.
You may leave a bleeding heart gorged
in a dark alley of empty despair.
The power of words
can bring a smile,
a tear
or
they can soothe the hurting one.
The power of words can take you on an adventure
you never dreamed that would be a part of your everyday
life.
With the power of words in your pocket.
Aim for the stars and travel the universe on a calliope of
magic.
Let your music within,
sing to the world and remember.....

wise and lovely write...one of which we should all take heed to, sending out messages of positive force. I believe that's what they meant, when 2 or more are gathering in my name. If we would all think more clearly as a team, as friens and neighbors, well, simply it would have to take a positive effect. Brilliant words my friend...hugs...Lee J.
