Change is in the air today, in me it says, “Hello”, but distant from reality I turn and walk away towards the world of soul where truth like a beacon glows steady in the dark. The dark of life misunderstood holds like an infant scared to the times of human life and the ways of mortal man destined till they reach the grave to seek but never find. Hidden is the secret of our longevity portrayed as a passing and seasonal foray into the find, catch, grab, and keep, of inconsequential wealth unable like the arms of love to satisfy a need. Scared at best, unworthy, of commitment to the soul it’s easy, sometimes grand, to make of life a blind man’s bluff and wander far and distant from the security of love meant to guide and lead back into timelessness. Change is in the air today but it’s winter now and cold, too cold to for me to realise the world of soul’s right here to warm and comfort my distress at how this life unfolds. And so I seek, catch, grab, and keep, what stands before my eyes bright, bold, and vibrant, colourful, instead of the unknown disguised and concealed in the requirement of survival through the holocaust of needs!
