Sunsets and Silhouettes

I gaze into the evening sunset and marvel at
the kaleidoscope of colors.
Bright gold's, dusty grays and Caribbean blues,
with touches of misty mauves.
Feathering , blending, scattering, into the opulent
horizon.
Looking at the surrounding trees.
The sunset is a master painters backdrop
for silhouettes of beauty, textures and grace.
Imagine the delicate fingers of the wind touching,
caressing-
Cooling the dampness from your warm moist skin.
A comfortable chair, extra soft cushions, a foot stool
that fits just right.
A cup of tea with mint and a touch of lemon.
The comfort of good conversation and laughter
touching deep inside your very being.
Isn’t it lovely?
Won’t you come and join me in my peaceful
Paradise?
A cup of tea is waiting.
