They can’t help it,
this kiss is fate to them;
they cast it to the wind,
and having lost their heads
they don’t care whether
life will be a joy ride or
a convertible upside down,
sliding, sliding.....

I'm truly not myself today and probably won't be for a while~~ but I'm aware enough to appreciate your having read me.  I've held off posting this poem for a year or more, thinking that people wouldn't take to the imagery~~

I'm glad I finally got reckless enough to risk it~~

~~ and to post this poem!

Ah yes, some things are beyond control or seem inevitable no matter the possible ramifications.  I know this.  And this poem expressed it all too well.  I'm glad you posted it.  Good stuff.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Not knowing what will be... some things simply must be. *S*

I like this very much, my friend... even if you did go and make me think... and on a holiday weekend at that! LOL

Excellent work!!

So often a life decision is based on just one kiss.  Well written.  KJ
