It is not an illusion
this adorning gay profusion
that graces the lawn at dawn
Hibiscus sweet in colors so neat
luring admirers to come sniff the flowers
Knowing full well that at night time in swell
these graceful beauties will fold and be gone
Then on the morrow, in natures true nature
they’ll get up and do it all over again~

When I clicked on this and that image burst forth, I caught my breath in joy at the beauty shown. Then when I read the text, I found myself smiling.

I'm so glad I clicked on this one. I planted hibuscus this year -- never had them before. I just can't wait to see their first blossoms. This was beautiful, Marge!

I just adore hibiscus, Marge and this one is absolutely stunning. The only problem is that the blooms only last a day. I'm guessing this is from your garden?
