There is an edge to darkness I find endearing, I can walk along any spiritual lane or thought path, as well as most real thoroughfares without fearing others' terrors lurking in the shadows of the rain; I hold beliefs justified only to me, on my own awareness, without regard for the quirky whims of popular correctness or political popularity; often I am considered rude or crude, or even lewd by the momentary terms of accepted social firmament; just as no thought exists in Athapaskan to form a word for wheel, I have no feeling for the use of "should " applied to life. I try not to impose on those who hold to their very own rose colored view, and I've grown comfortable having found so few who share beliefs I hold, but I wonder sometimes if in some future life I will regress to seeking validation from others. ©2004 by icebox |

I am right behind Martie with that thought, as being true to yourself should be foremost in a person's mind. Your poetry actually makes me slow down, think, and absorb (slowing me down is not an easy task!" Excellent write. |

"I try not to impose on those who hold to their very own rose colored view, and I've grown comfortable having found so few who share beliefs I hold, but I wonder sometimes if in some future life I will regress to seeking validation from others." Then why am I posting here? I guess because this isn't what it seems. "just as no thought exists in Athapaskan to form a word for wheel, I have no feeling for the use of "should "" Very much enjoyed the analogy here -- but don't believe that either, sorry. Very much enjoyed reading you again, my friend. And perhaps, my comments are not what they seem, either. |

Such truth in your reflection. A very thought provoking write, one taking the mind to pondering... you have the touch. |

Alienation is actually fun when we get right down to it, eh? It frees us in so many ways! |
