Living out sorrows through fingertips.. knowing I can't wrap words around them forever they won't hold There is no flutter of wings around the light I left on in the hallway, no unfurling sails frantic lost motions to a quiet room Breathless over this heartless anchoring a heave of sighs drags its weight to the window mistaking reflections for flesh. |
