Random Acts v. Dark Intent

I’ve no mind for someone who weaves
around their dark intentions and leaves
sadness in their wake,
I’d rather take
the chance to bring a smile, not a frown
to the people I chance to hang around.

No one needs to stand alone, encumbered
with dark, mean words interrupting slumber
because they broke
with words they spoke
the essence of one’s life, someone’s dream
just for a chance to pass around their mean.

Ah, those with dark intentions come and roam
invading lives, loves, romances, homes,
an intruder, yes,
with hateful caress,
taking from those who have worked so long
at a life’s vision’s dream, once lingering, now gone.

I think in life’s long hall of justice here on earth
if I were to have a case of any substantial worth
“Random Acts versus
Dark Intent’s Curses”
then by passions of good people gathered forth
we’d send those with dark intent far, far south of north.

I’d banish them to their own Hell’s delights
where they could then live with their own frights
while here above
we could love
and continue on with simple, random acts of kindnesses
sprinkled liberally with love, hugs, and comforting kisses.

Oh would that we could kindly act in such a manner as to free those of dark intent from the shadows and usher them into the light of love.  Such pain is harbored in the dark.

Enjoyed this.

I thought this was a very good piece of writing...it's rare when I like rhyming, but you did it well. Thanks for the read.
