There are two days in every week which I should not worry. Two days should be kept free from fear and apprehension. One of these days is yesterday.
With its mistakes and cares,Its faults and blunders, Its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever beyond my control.
I cannot undo a single act that I preformed.
I cannot erase a single word I said.
Yesterday is gone!

The other day of the week I should not worry about in tomorrow.
With its possible adversities, its burdens its promises and poor preformance.
Tomorrow is also beyond my immediate control.
Tomorrows sun will rise either in splendor,
or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise.
Until it does I have no stake in tomorrow for it is unborn. This leaves only one day, TODAY and any man can fight the battles of one day.It is only when I add the burdens of those two awful eternities, Yesterday and Tomorrow that I break down. It is not the experience of today that drives us mad.

It is the remorse or bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow with bring.
Let me therefore live but...one day at a time.

I embrace this view, wise words spoken.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

So true -- and why worry at all, it only makes you pre-maturely gray!  Very much enjoyed and well written!   .....jo

Wonderful concepts here, truths that we should listen to and think about, today, this moment is our time, past and future out of our control, let's party well.

Enjoyed the read and your thoughts my friend, thank you for sharing.

Sincerely
Rick
